Allium 'Blue Eddy'
Unique butterfly garden plant!
Allium senescens 'Blue Eddy'. This special selection from 'Glaucum' offers a unique compact plant with a very late bloom season. This ornamental onion is sometimes called a Spiral Onion due to its twisting foliage. Bees & butterflies love it while deer and rabbits generally avoid it. Once established it is drought tolerant. Also grows well in containers.
MATURE HEIGHT: 8-12".
MATURE SPREAD: 8-12".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8.
FLOWER: Mid to late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to part shade.
