Astilbe arendsii 'Glow'. Very dark red open to deep red flowers with rose highlights. The plumes are upright and triangular, rising above the green foliage that first emerges bronze-red. Known as as False Spirea, and goes by the name 'Glut' in Europe. Although any sun exposure is ok, partial sun is ideal.
