Hosta 'Blue Jay' has heart-shaped, thick, very blue leaves that are slightly cupped and come to a point. Considered by many to be the "blueist" hosta. A 'Dorset Blue' seedling. Slug resistant. An attractive plant. (Benedict 1987)
