USDA Hardiness Zones 3-8. Blooms late Spring to late Summer.
ALL SEASON COLOR!
Campanula carpatica 'Pearl Deep Blue' explodes with cup-shaped, upward facing, 2", vivid blue-violet flowers all season long. Deadheading the plants will ensure a flow of colorful blossoms. This perennial forms a compact uniform clump that makes it useful for neat and tidy edging. Grows best when its roots are in cool soil. Southern gardeners can use extra mulch or grow in an area that has afternoon shade. Well draining soil is very much appreciated by this campanula.
'Pearl Deep Blue' tolerates heat better than the species and blooms a few weeks earlier than its cousins.
