Petryszyn (2004). Large [25" tall x 40" wide].
Near white flowers mid season.
Hosta 'Chesapeake Bay' features large, thick, oyster-shaped leaves that are slightly rippled, lightly corrugated and moderately folded. A hybrid of ('Maui Rains' x 'Blue Arrow') x 'Blue Betty Lou'. The big blue mound of foliage reminds the breeder of underwater plants moving in the current of the bay. This big blue is one in a series of interesting hostas in Olga Petryszyn's "Americana Series". Slug resistant.
All plants are dropping leaves as the season ends. Most plants are shipped without foliage.
