Coreopsis 'Mercury Rising'
A NONSTOP BLOOMER!
Coreopsis 'Mercury Rising'. Non-stop velvety wine red flowers all summer long. The flowers expand as they age, maturing to a large 1 - 2" size. Even the backs of the flowers are decorative: creamy yellow with a purple stripe down the center of each petal. A Strong fast grower of highly disease-resistant foliage. A pretty addition to any garden, especially those designed to attract butterflies. A member of the "Big Bang" series of superior garden coreopsis. PP#24689.
Special note: Since 'Mercury Rising' is sterile, no deadheading or other maintenance is required to keep it blooming over a long period.
MATURE HEIGHT: 15-18".
MATURE SPREAD: 36".
