A SPECIAL NEW ZEALAND HYBRID
Delphinium elatum 'Blushing Brides' is a very special F1, hand-pollinated variety that features rich mulberry pink to dusky pink flowers with brown or white bees. By removing the spent flowers you will encourge the plant to rebloom. Even when the plant is not in bloom its folige is handsome. This is a New Zealand Hybrid. Its tall, 6' stems are strong and staking is not required, but it is never a bad idea to have that support there.
Delphinums are deer and rabbit resistant. They make wonderful fresh flower bouquets, and they dry nicely too. Hummingbirds and butterflies adore the blossoms. Individual plants make lovely specimens in the garden and groupings are spectacular.
