Athyrium niponicum. Fern 'Regal Red Japanese Painted'. Colorful and ruffly, this newer specimen is loaded with color and charm. Like it's cousin 'Japanese Painted Fern' this beauty is a slow clumper, not invasive at all. Its deep red veining distinguishes it from other ferns.
Kindly note: disease-free vegetatively produced ferns usually take a few years to display their full splendor. Our 2-3 year old plants look really great but will need another season or two to show their complete uniqueness, size, texture and color.
