Full sun to part sun. [6-8" tall] USDA Hardiness Zones 3-9. Blooms early summer.
Ornamental strawberry. Fragaria 'Lipstick' is a low growing plant with bright green leaves. Deep pinkish-rose flowers display for a long time, followed up by some small red strawberries. Deer resistant. Makes a good groundcover. Also grows well in containers. 'Neglect' will produce the richest, deepest pink blossoms. Too much fertilizer will produce lighter pink flowers. Quite hardy. One for the busy gardener who relies on easy to grow plants.
