Carex 'Bowles Golden'
THE PERFECT HOSTA COMPANION!
Grass carex elata 'Aurea'. Also known as 'Bowles Golden'. Brilliant yellow blades appear to glow in the landscape, especially bright in Spring. Grows best in very moist conditions. Makes a nice companion plant to hostas, ferns and astilbe. A random, faint, light green vertical stripe can sometimes be spotted on the long blades. Native to Europe.
HEIGHT: 24".
SPREAD: 12".
HARDINESS ZONES: 5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Early season (insignificant).
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to part shade.
SIZE SHIPPED: 2.5" pot.
