Heucherella 'Alabama Sunrise'
EXCELLENT CHOICE FOR SOUTHERN GARDENS!
Heucherella 'Alabama Sunrise' is a special villosa hybrid. It is more tolerant of heat and humidity, thus making it an excellent choice for southern gardeners. It features very large, deeply cut, brilliant gold leaves with red veining. Part sun is best, but shade is recommended for the southern states. While this plant is primarily grown for its unique and colorful foliage it does feature tiny white flowers. Introduced in 2009. PP#19611
Heucherella are an intergeneric hybrid between Heuchera x Tiarella. The resulting offspring retain some of the best traits of both parents. Since all forms are sterile they bloom profusely and repeatedly. This beauty is sometimes known as Foamy Bells.
