Cimicifugia 'Hillside Black Beauty'
TALL... DARK... MYSTERIOUS-LOOKING...
Cimicifugia ramosa 'Hillside Black Beauty'. Black Snakeroot. A striking dark purplish-black version of the green species. Unusual 12" long, fragrant 'bottle brush' flowers open white with a pale blush pink tinge. A collector's item. PP#09988
Cimicifugia prefer moist, mostly shady conditions. They attract butterflies. The flowers make great additions to fresh-cut flower bouquets. Cimicifugia are generally resistant to deer and rabbits.
MATURE HEIGHT: Foliage 48-84".
MATURE SPREAD: 36-48".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8.
FLOWER: White, late season.
