Hosta 'Lettuce Salad'. Another interesting sport of 'Summer breeze', this beauty wants you to know that green hostas can be awesome! The foliage is of good substance, but of bad behavior - it is very unruly! The 8.5" long leaves (6" wide) have a mind of their own and grow how they want to. The corrugation of the leaves definitely adds to the effect. A fast grower that starts out chartreuse but eventually turns bright green. In July flowers appear and hover just above the foliage. This beauty is trying to do everything the other green hostas don't do. (Postlewaite 2008)
MATURE HEIGHT: 21".
MATURE SPREAD: 46".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Pale lavender, mid season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
