Hosta 'Blue Elf'. How do you improve upon hosta 'Blue Mouse Ears'? You make it blue-er! That is exactly what Hans Hansen has done at Walter's Gardens. This new magical hosta remains compact and cute but with just slightly larger leaves of a wonderful powder blue. Purple flowers hover just above the thick leaves, about 12" off the ground. PPAF.
