Chastain (1997). Medium [18" tall x 30" wide].
Light lavender flowers late season.
Hosta 'Lakeside Dragonfly' features broad lance-shaped medium green leaves with white margins that often jet inwards. Foliage is slightly wavy and pointed with individual leaves measuring 6.5" long and 3" wide. Forms a dense mound of dragonfly-like wings on a fast growing plant. Some have described this perennial as looking like a giant tarantula! Mature specimens are very attractive and distinct. A plant of unknown heritage from the prolific hosta breeder Mary Chastain. Fertile.
PLANT SIZE: This hosta is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot.
Due to a recent frost most plants are shipped partially to fully trimmed.
(but Heuchera still look really good!)
