Easy-to-grow groundcover
Lamium maculatum 'White Nancy'. An attractive, easy to grow perennial that features pure white flowers in clumps above silver foliage that is accented with blue-green margins. This variety is especially dense making it an excellent weed-smothering groundcover. The winner of the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit 1993. This plant is also known as Spotted Deadnettle.
Lamium are hardy plants that resist deer and rabbits. Their fast growth rate and short stature make them ideal ground cover plants. These plants grow best in average, moist, well-drained soil in a shady location. Once established lamium can tolerate periods of dryness. Space 18" apart.
