Hosta 'Light the Match'
New for 2025!
Hosta 'Light the Match'. This amazing beauty emerges with long, narrow, wavy, bright yellow foliage. When grown in some sunlight it blushes red! While the first part of the growing season gives you spectacular color, the clump does fade to green and the red flush does disappear. A cross between (('Swoosh' x 'Raving Beauty') x 'First Blush'). Mature leaves measure 5"x3". We saw significant red blushing on our baby liners in 2024 so we can only image what these plants will look like when grown. (Ruff 2019)

MATURE SPREAD: 12".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Light purple, late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
