Hosta 'Mariachi' is a reverse sport of hosta 'Guacamole'. Green heart-shaped leaves start the season with a chartreuse margin. As summer progresses the margin turns yellow. A slight shine to the foliage adds to the interest of this hosta. In August the pale lavender flowers open up to reveal a rare alluring fragrance. (Zilis)
