Hosta 'May'
SLUG RESISTANT
Hosta 'May' is a brilliant gold sport of 'June'. Same great substance and growing habit. The heart-shaped leaves are ever so slightly cupped, with slightly wavy margins. For the richest yellow color to develop the plant should be grown in a brighter location. Compared to hosta 'English Sunrise' (another all gold sport of 'June') this variety is considerably shorter. (Hansen 1999)
MATURE HEIGHT: 8".
MATURE SPREAD: 22".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Pale lavender late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
