An interesting seedling from 'Katsuragawa Beni'. The red from the leaf stems flows well into the leaf blade. Hosta 'Miss Ruby' is a pretty variety that can be worked into breeding programs, especially those desiring the color red. Winner of the AHS Hosta First Look competition. Fertile. (Wrede 2005)

FLOWER: Pale purple, mid season.
