Persicaria 'Painter's Palette'
We LOVE this plant!
Persicaria virginiana 'Painter's Palette' is a colorful addition to any shady garden. Easy to grow, it features textured leaves of dark green, light green, white, creamy-yellow and burgundy on dark red stems. Also known as Fleeceflower or Knotweed. Late summer brings fine red plumes on long red stems, followed by small fertile seeds. We find it to be a self seeder, but not invasive. An excellent companion to hostas, it brings form, texture and color to the shady garden. We find it very easy to grow and we love it!
MATURE HEIGHT: 30".
MATURE SPREAD: 30".
HARDINESS ZONES: 5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
