Hosta 'Prairie Sky' features gently cupped, broadly ovate, powder blue leaves. A hybrid of (H. rupifraga x 'Maruba Iwa') x 'Blue Jay'. A medium grower that matures to 3' wide. A beautiful, intense blue color, inherited by its parent 'Blue Jay' lasts a long time. One of the bluest. If you are looking for a very blue hosta that performs well... this is it! It is so special that it is protected by a plant patent. PP#17309. (Hansen 2005)
