Hosta 'Prairie Moon'

Hosta 'Prairie Moon' emerges in the spring with bright yellow leaves backed by a lovely silver reverse. The intense color does not fade like it does for most other gold hostas. The thick, wedge-shaped leaves have good slug resistance and are topped by 2-inch lavender bell-shaped flowers in August. A hybrid of a streaked 'Elegans' x 'Fragrant Bouquet', the somewhat cupped and wavy foliage arches out to create a nice visual element for any shady area. Did we mention the colorful petioles? (Hansen 2007)
MATURE HEIGHT: 16".
MATURE SPREAD: 31".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Pale lavender, mid season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
