Herold (NR). Small [12" tall x 28" wide]. Lavender flowers late season.
Hosta 'Red October' features a beautiful display of very red stems. The wavy green leaves feature a frosted-white back. The flower scapes of this little beauty are also red and are topped off with green seed pods that have red stripes. Some of the red in the stems of the leaves often "runs" up into the base of the leaf. A fast grower. This colorful plant belongs in every hosta collection.
