Asch (2005). Medium [16" tall x 40" wide].
Lavender flowers late season.
Introduced in 2008, hosta 'Red Hot Poker' is a clean non-burning variegated hosta with showy red flower scapes. The shiny leaves are of good substance and feature a nice wide creamy-white margin. From the 'Dorothy Benedict' line. Upon maturity the leaves are slightly wavy and lightly cupped. This beauty tolerates more sun than most and shows resistance to slugs. Fast growth rate. Fertile, displaying red seed pods.
