Salvia 'Caradonna'
NEAT & TIDY
Salvia nemorosa 'Caradonna'. One of our favorite sun perennials. This beauty is sturdy and upright in its growth. No floppy foliage here, this plant maintains a neat and tidy form. The violet-blue flowers are accentuated by the dark purple stems. A superb cut flower. Deadheading will often convince the plant to re-bloom. An award winner!
Salvia are resistant to deer and rabbits. They make excellent additions to fresh cut flower bouquets and the scented blossoms also dry well. This family of plants is a great choice for butterfly and hummingbird gardens. Drought tolerant once established.
