Salvia nemorosa 'East Friesland'. This popular Meadow Sage features intense purple flowers, perfect for fresh cut bouquets. A nice addition to hummingbird gardens. Suitable for container growing. Deadheading will extend the blooming season, giving you flowers all summer long.
Salvia are resistant to deer and rabbits. They make excellent additions to fresh cut flower bouquets and the scented blossoms also dry well. This family of plants is a great choice for butterfly and hummingbird gardens. Drought tolerant once established.
