Hosta 'St. Elmo's Fire'
ONE OF OUR FAVORITES!
Hosta 'St. Elmo's Fire'. Bright yellow, shiny, lightly wavy and slightly cupped leaves with pure white margins. Greens up a bit later in the season. Later in the season the plant will display 2 colors of leaves, the new growth emerges gold and the older foliage turns a green hue, all with the white margin. A sport of 'Seafire'. Good substance. Fertile. (Solberg 1995)
MATURE HEIGHT: 16".
MATURE SPREAD: 24".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Light lavender, mid season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
