Hosta sieboldiana is a big monster with thick, corrugated, blue to green leaves. Its blue color fades to green relatively quickly. A native species of the Japanese Island of Honshu. Slug resistant and easy to grow. Fertile. If you are looking for a big blue that stays blue longer you may consider hosta sieboldiana 'Elegans'.
