Hosta 'Steffi'
ONE-OF-A-KIND
Hosta 'Steffi'. Mature leaves measure 8" long by 6" wide, of good substance. A sport of 'Saint Elmo's Fire'. A simple quick glance would have you thinking this is an ordinary green hosta with a light margin. Over the seasons you will see its uniqueness and chameleon-like changes. The foliage emerges light green with a yellow margin, similar to its parent. As the summer progresses the plant changes to dark green with a white margin. We have found it to be a strong grower. MATURE SPREAD: 40".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Pale lavender, late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
