Fern 'Tatting'
KINDLY NOTE: orders containing this plant will ship after June 1.
Athyrium filix-femina Frizalliae 'Tatting'. One of our favorite ferns! 'Tatting' is a very attractive and completely unique fern. This clumping variety dates back to 1857 when Mrs. Frizell found this growing in her garden in Ireland. It is so special that is has been carefully safe-guarded since then so that we may enjoy it today.
Kindly note: disease-free, vegetatively produced ferns usually take a few years to display their full splendor. Our 2-3 year old plants look really great but may need another season to show their complete uniqueness, size, texture and color.
