Hosta 'T-Rex'
A GIANT is back!
Gigantic! Hosta 'T Rex' is sometimes known as 'Tom Rex' and is a seedling of (H. montana macrophylla x 'Big John'). It features large dark green leaves 18" long and 14" wide, they are so big that they tend to be a bit floppy. The foliage is of good substance and each leaf has at least one significant wave. The large flowers rise just above the foliage. A perfect choice for those who like 'em big. (Ward 1999)
MATURE HEIGHT: 36".
MATURE SPREAD: 90".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Near white, early season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
