Hosta 'The Trophy Wife'

Hosta 'Trophy Wife'. This is “a beautiful large early season gold plant. As it starts to turn to a chartreuse color, it gets a showstopping copper color. It has a nice wavy margin and has a twist at the (leaf) tip,” says originator Bob Fox. As the season progresses, the color changes to copper-gold and eventually settles into a chartreuse shade by midsummer. It has proven to be a surprisingly tall, upright hosta that grows well. A cross of ‘Blaze of Glory’ X ‘Komodo Dragon’. Mature leaves measure 15" x 10". (R. & G, Fox)
