Wood Violet
Viola sororia 'Freckles'. A fun sport of the native Wood Violet. In spring you can expect lots of white flowers heavily speckled with blue spots, or freckles, thus the name. Easy-to-grow. Self-seeds true to form. Flowers are edible. Seeds are often enjoyed by the birds.
MATURE HEIGHT: 4-5".
MATURE SPREAD: 12".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Early season.
