Hosta 'Volcano Island'

Hosta 'Volcano Island'. This is a thicker (tetraploid) version of hosta 'Paradise Island'. Like its parent the red in the stems goes up into the leaves. Mature foliage is somewhat cupped, slightly wavy and of good texture. Colorful red flower stems hold up purple flowers. A special European import. PP#24008. (Fransen)
MATURE HEIGHT: 15".
MATURE SPREAD: 24".
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Lavender.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
