Introduced in 2010 Echinacea 'Hot Lava' PP#22807 features wide petals of a deep orange red tint to a deeper red at the orange cone. Extra petals give this new beauty a fuller look. Very strong stems make it a perfect choice for cut flowers. Another superior specimen from Terra Nova Nurseries.
'Hot Lava' differs from other similar varieties in the following ways: ♦ Taller than all other "reds" ♦ Petals more horizontal than 'Firebird' & 'Tomato Soup' ♦
This coneflower is a member of the "Prairie Pillars" family of echinacea from Terra Nova Nurseries. Long, strong stems and huge flowers is what this group of outstanding plants is all about.
