Heucherella 'Solar Power'

Heucherella 'Solar Power'. This newer beauty, introduced in 2010, is the most sun tolerant heucherella to date. It has proven its abilities during a heat spell that lasted several weeks with temps in the 100s. To get the glowing yellow background color this perennial needs to be exposed to some direct sunlight. Plants grown in full shade will have a lime green background to the red splashes. During the cooler months the foliage may take on shades of red. A strong grower with nicely lobed foliage. An excellent choice for containers. MATURE HEIGHT: Foliage 12". In bloom 16".

MATURE SPREAD: 20".
