Sedum 'Marina'

Sedum telephium 'Marina'. This pretty little clumper features oblong blue grey leaves that tint purple in summer. Rose-pink stems with matching flowers sit just above the foliage in summer. A strong grower that quickly forms multiple crowns. Another fine introduction from Terra Nova. PP#26191.

Short, low-growing sedums form dense mats of foliage. The thick, tight foliage usually does not allow weeds to grow; they are often used as a type of groundcover for areas where weeds are a problem. In addition to the attractive foliage, they produce an abundance of flowers.  Sedum are visited by butterflies, bees and hummingbirds. Easy-to-grow, most varieties do not require any manual watering. Many actually grow better when left alone in the landscape.  Short sedum are wonderful in rock gardens. They also look great in containers.
