Aquilegia. A native perennial that adds color to any garden or landscape. Flowers open to about 2". This variety is happiest in part sun with moist but very well draining soil. Considered an herb, it readily self-seeds. Also known as the Eastern Red Columbine.

MATURE SPREAD: 12"+.
HARDINESS ZONES: 3,4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Early season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Part sun to shade.
