Full sun to full shade. [26" tall x 24" wide].
USDA Hardiness Zones 4-9. Blooms mid season.
Astilbe 'Radius' is a large impressive looking selection. This outstanding new hybrid forms a large robust clump similar to A. chinensis types but with more refined (not coarse) green foliage. The new foliage has a pretty reddish copper cast in the springtime. Leafy burgundy red scapes carry triangular plumes of burgundy red buds which open to bright red flowers in early to mid summer.
PLANT SIZE: This astilbe is shipped well rooted and growing in a deep 3" pot. You will receive a nice multi-eyed division of blooming age.
Please note that we ship Astilbe seasonally, mid April through October. Orders placed in 'winter' (November - early April) that contain Astilbe will be shipped mid April.
