Fall 2018 Plant Conditions:
Astilbe are wonderful hardy perennials that can grow in full sun, part sun or shade. They flourish best in a partly sunny, moist area. As with most perennials Astilbe grow best in well draining soil. They are a good choice for containers. The fragrant flowers can be dried or added to fresh flower bouquets. The foliage is very attractive even without blossoms. Astilbe are generally resistant to deer and rabbits. Also known as False Spirea they attract butterflies and hummingbirds."Very nice plant - well packaged - fast delivery."
Our Astilbe are some of the best available on the market today. We search wide and far for the best performing, most colorful varieties. Our Astilbe are reproduced vegetatively. Our plants are vigorous hybrids not inferior seedlings. All of our astilbe are of blooming age/size.
