Echinacea 'Supreme Cantalope'
This is a "green thumb" plant. Hybrid echinacea are not recommended for beginners. Special care is required the first year. Prior experience with echinacea is highly recommended!
Echinacea 'Supreme Cantalope'. Absolutely the color of a ripe cantaloupe! Young flowers look like a brown eyed, double Gerbera and are excellent as a cut flower. As the flowers expand, they take on a more Echinacea look and last and last and last. Matures to a pink-peach tone. Unlike any other Echinacea! PP#24897.
2012 Ohio State University Trial Garden reported that this coneflower has "beautiful flowers" and was "a visitor favorite".
MATURE HEIGHT: 29".
MATURE SPREAD: 15-18".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8,9,10.
FLOWER: Mid to late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to mostly sunny.
