Echinacea 'Tangerine Dream'
STRONG FLOWER STEMS!
Introduced to the world in 2010, echinacea 'Tangerine Dream' features huge 4.5" clear orange flowers in abundance. The overlapping petals keep their color longer than any other orange variety. Add a sweet honey scent to this amazing plant and you have a winner! PP#21773.
This coneflower is part of the "Dream" series from Terra Nova Nurseries. "Dream" echinacea are a collection of mid-sized plants that possess re-blooming flower power, providing months of non-fading flowers on strong stems. The "Dream" plant traits set the new standard for landscape echinacea.
'Tangerine Dream' differs from other similar varieties in the following ways:
♦ Non-fading flowers with consistent rich orange color.
♦ Shorter than 'Sundown' & 'Tiki Torch'.
♦ Most recurved petals of the oranges.
MATURE HEIGHT: 23".
MATURE SPREAD: 30".
HARDINESS ZONES: 4,5,6,7,8,9.
FLOWER: Mid to late season.
SUN EXPOSURE: Full sun to mostly sunny.
