A RARE LITTLE GEM
Heuchera abramsii 'San Gabriel' is a tiny little native Californian gem. Rose pink flowers sit just a few inches above the mini clump of 1/4" long leaves in mid summer. Its native habitat is among the rocks and crevices high in the coneiferous forests, known to exist in the 9,000 - 11,000m above sea level, thus its cold hardiness. It's range is limited to southern California. It is a rare plant but it is not yet on any federal preservation lists. Excellent drainage is required. Keep more dry than wet. Also known as Abram's allum root.
