Heuchera 'Sugar Plum'
We LOVE this one!
Heuchera 'Sugar Plum'. "Plum crazy" is how we feel about this new beauty! Frosty plum-purple leaves make a tight mound of foliage that is heat and humidity tolerant. Silvery pink flowers rise 26" above the soil and frequently re-bloom. A refreshing sight in summer! A 2010 Terra Nova Introduction. PP#21857.
This plant is a Heuchera villosa hybrid. The villosa species is a robust grower with an increased tolerance of high heat and humidity over other species. Most villosas produce flowers in midsummer, though they are usually grown more for their fantastic foliage. H. villosa is native to the southeastern United States. If you live in the south this plant is a great choice for your garden!
