Description
Heuchera 'Stainless Steel'
FASCINATING!
Heuchera 'Stainless Steel'. An interesting newer coral bells. In spring the young foliage is silver with a purple flush, becoming clear silver at bloom time; the undersides of the leaves are dark red-purple. The leaves are about 4" across. The flowers emerge from pink buds, opening to large, bell-shaped, white flowers that tower over the tidy clump of foliage. One of the parents of this hybrid is Heuchera pubescens, an especially hardy, drought-resistant species of rocky slopes in the Appalachians. A unique introduction from The Primrose Path. PP#23349.
