Heucherella are an intergeneric hybrid between Heuchera x Tiarella. The resulting offspring retain some of the best traits of both parents. Since all forms are sterile they bloom profusely and repeatedly. Known for their vigorous habit they are a premium hosta companion. Commonly known as Foamy Bells.
Like all heuchera family plants, this variety goes through seasonal color changes. Temperature, genetics, age and sun exposure all contribute to the color of the foliage. Brightest colors are usually seen during colder months. Young starter plants usually need a full year in their new home to develop all the coloration, size and texture. Too much shade can dull the colors. Some varieties genetically have more significant changes. You get 4 seasons of visual excitement.
